Are we still in the midst of a "nitrous shortage"?

I haven't had a nitrous bottle filled in like 8 years. However, I seem to recall a shortage around 2017. And I know that some of the places in my area stopped bothering to offer refilling services. Is this still the case? Is there still an issue with retailers getting the nitrous needed to top off their refilling stations? Take care. Tom Worthington

A few years ago yes. Not a problem now,but prices vary wildly. I am paying 5.50 a lb.
